The Norfolk Business Support Alliance (BSA) is a partnership of key business support organisations operating in the county, and also includes representatives from local authority Economic Development Departments.
As the economic driver for Norfolk, business needs a local environment to include a skilled workforce, quality education systems, high speed broadband connection, co-ordinated business support provision, quality
infrastructure road, rail and air.
The BSA identifies gaps and
analyses the provision available and works with private and public sector partners to ensure the Norfolk business needs are met.
The BSA has a steering group make up of:
- Norfolk Chamber of Commerce (Chair)
- Norwich and Norfolk Voluntary Services
- Norwich City College
- Job Centre Plus
- Easton College
- Norwich City Council (representing urban areas)
- Princes Trust
- Learning and Skills Council
- NWES
- Shaping Norfolk's Future
- Norfolk County Council
- North Norfolk District Council (representing rural areas)
In addition Business Support Forums take place to debate with the wider supply network the needs of local businesses and the support that they require.
