Norfolk Profile and Investment Group
Aim of the Group
A newly formed group to provide a strategic platform for the delivery of activities, which support Shaping Norfolk’s Future Strategic Goal Five.
Strategic Goal Five: To communicate and maximise the benefits of Norfolk’s positive profile locally, regionally, nationally and internationally in order to increase competitiveness, trade and investment.
Remit includes directing:
- the delivery of messages to promote Norfolk
- sector development
- the identification international audiences to promote Norfolk
Meeting Frequency: 3 times per year
Sub-groups
The activities of EUFIN, the EU Funding and International Group and the Investment and Overseas Trade Group feeds through to the Norfolk Profile and Investment Group through the respective co-ordinators, Jo Middleton and David Dukes plus a business representative from each Group.
EUFIN meets three times a year to:
- to provide an international dimension to the key messages for Norfolk, within the overarching marketing plan
- to ensure that key stakeholders are aware of EU funding sources
- develop international relationships that contribute to local and regional strategies
- to brief stakeholders on important EU, UK and Regional government papers and consultations.

The first key activity undertaken has been the development of core messages and images to promote Norfolk as a great place to work, live and do business. These messages are a resource which can be accessed and used free of charge on this website's message bank. Businesses and organisations across Norfolk are invited to download messages and images to use in their own promotional materials to help attract talented employees, customers, investors . . . anywhere where raising the profile of Norfolk could benefit their business.
